Calling all teen foodies! I We’re diving into the cookbooks of some of the biggest names in the food world—from timeless culinary legends to viral kitchen creators. Each week, students will cook recipes straight from a featured chef’s cookbook and learn the techniques that made them famous. Families will also have the option to purchase their favorite featured cookbooks so the cooking fun can continue at home! Menu Week 1: Julia Child — Mastering the Art of French Cooking Chicken Fricassée with Herbed Rice Puff Pastry Apple Tart Skills: Sauce making, braising, confident plating Week 2: Joshua Weissman — An Unapologetic Cookbook Fried Chicken Sandwich with Pickle Slaw Mini Chocolate Chunk Skillet Cookies Skills: Crispy breading, sandwich stacking, cookie baking techniques Week 3: Molly Baz — Cook This Book Caesar Salad with Smoky Croutons (Cae Sal) One-Pot Vodka Pasta (alcohol-free version) Dessert: Ice Cream Sandwiches Skills: Seasoning like a pro, emulsifying sauces, assembling desserts Week 4: Emeril Lagasse — Essential Emeril Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta Banana Cream Pie Cups with Homemade Whipped Cream Skills: Working with spice, stovetop sauces, whipping and folding Notes: This class meets for 4-weeks on Thursday's from 10:30-12:30. Classes are drop-off to encourage independence in the kitchen. Each class has 2-3 instructors per small group.
