Service Description

Every time you cook, you're conducting a science experiment, so why not make it delicious? Join us in our world of culinary experimentation with our Edible Science Series. You'll learn how different ingredients interact with each other, explore the chemical reactions that occur during cooking, and uncover the secrets behind your favorite dishes. Week 1: Mixing and Unmixing Substances Separating protein Molecules-Ricotta Cheese Making Separating Solids and Liquids- Butter Making We will use our science experiment to make an Italian Pasta Lunch! Week 2: Solids. Liquids, and Yum! Insulation from heat: Baked Alaska Formation of Solid Crystals-Maple Candy How Juice is Made- Grinder Subs Week 3: It's A Gas! Gas Under Pressure-Popover Pops Reducing Air Pressure- Inflatable Marshmallows Brunch will be made with our Popover Experiment Notes: This is a homeschool class series that meets for 3-weeks on Tuesday's for 2-hours. Lunch is included! Classes are drop off with two instructors per small class.

Cancellation Policy

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY? Due to the fact that food must be purchased ahead of time for classes and camps, we do not issue refunds. A class exchange may be made for any class up to 3  days before the class date. No refunds, returns, or exchanges will be given 3 days or less before the class date.  Meraki reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes. In the event a class is canceled, all students will be notified and full refunds given.  For  Summer Camps, No refunds, returns or exchanges will be given.
